What RunTheCloud is
RunTheCloud is an integrated service by MondayCoffee and Laux Lawyers AG that helps organizations keep Microsoft 365 under control despite the constant flow of technical, contractual, legal, and regulatory changes. It monitors and processes Microsoft 365 Message Center notifications, Microsoft contractual changes, Microsoft Trust Portal updates, and selected legal and regulatory sources. Each relevant item is summarized, categorized, assessed, and published in the RunTheCloud Teams app so that users can quickly understand what matters and what action may be required.
Sources of RunTheCloud content
RunTheCloud content is based on a systematic monitoring process covering Microsoft 365 Message Center updates, Microsoft contract terms, Microsoft Trust Portal publications, and selected customer input. Each message in RunTheCloud contains recommendations based on highly relevant and deep expertise in the organizations of MondayCoffee and Laux Lawyers.
The service scope covers Microsoft 365 E5 and related Microsoft 365 premium services. In addition to the technical messages, RunTheCloud covers legally and compliance-relevant updates contributed and reviewed by Laux Lawyers AG.
Who should use it
RunTheCloud is designed for organizations that operate Microsoft 365 and need a structured way to monitor changes, assess impact, and coordinate follow-up work. It is particularly useful for IT Admins, App Owners, Security teams, and Compliance or Legal teams. The four-role model also works for smaller organizations where one person may cover multiple responsibilities.
Key benefits and use cases
RunTheCloud helps organizations identify and process the 10–30% of Microsoft 365 changes that are relevant to their specific situation in order to ensure stable operations, best-in-class security, and compliant data processing for their tenant.
By being able to filter out all other, irrelevant updates, organizations have a way to employ significantly fewer expert-level resources to achieve these goals.
By providing understandable summaries, role-specific recommendations, and collaboration features, RunTheCloud provides actionable expert knowledge that can be used for several use cases:
- Microsoft 365 change management to reduce risks from unforeseen disruptions in the operations of this important cloud platform
- Security hardening to identify and implement key features and configurations that make the overall system safer against cyber threats
- Regulatory awareness and updating to ensure compliance with regulations
- Internal team coordination around Microsoft 365 related changes and tasks
- Technical up-skilling for your technical team to keep up-to-date about key apps and features
